CT scans use controlled ionizing radiation and are generally safe when medically indicated. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or have kidney issues before contrast-enhanced CT.
Carry a government ID, previous reports/films if any, doctor prescription, and relevant medical history. Arrive a little early to complete registration.
